Taken in Birkenau, Poland.
Relics of suffering, relics of pain, relics of Holocaust. During the Second World War there was a concentration camp (like in many other places in Poland and Germany). Nazis killed there an enormous number of people - Jewish, Polish and many others. Now there're two museums: Birkenau and Auschwitz. One of the most touching places I've ever seen. Everyone should visit it at least once. ~~~ THANK YOU SO MUCH =Anoya and `Pete-B for a Daily Deviation on this photo! Thank you, thank you, thank you! And big thanks to you all for your comments, faves and understanding what I wanted to tell you with this photo Daily DeviationGiven 2008-03-30Relicts of suffering by *positively Some subjects need to be handled very delicately by photographers. In this shot we can see how the photographer has used minimal composition and effective depth of field to portray the barbarity of a Nazi Concentration Camp without making the image over sentimental. The photographer has used the Bared Wire to signify the horror of what has happened here. (Suggested by =Anoya and Featured by `Pete-B) Commentsthanks
